Choosing Stocks Interactive Workshop CD

Insight Trader
to Build and Manage an Investment Portfolio
A Microsoft Producer multimedia presentation of the 2day
Insight Trader Interactive Weekend Workshop
held in Sydney on 23-24 July 2005
Background of the Presentation

On the Weekend of July 23-24 2005 the developer of Insight Trader, Dr Bernard Chapman, held a two day workshop in Sydney to train participants in the use of the Insight Trader software to assist them to get the most out of their program by showing them how use its many powerful features to analyse the markets to capture opportunities. To accelerate learning and maximize retention, participants were encouraged to bring their own computers so that they could immediately practice on the spot what they had learned.

The highlight of the Workshop was to bring together, at the end of the weekend, all the techniques that had been learned over the two days and to demonstrate how we could use Insight Trader to implement a complete trading plan. The particular plan we chose to implement was closely based on that outlined in Colin Nicholson's book The Aggressive Investor. This was a comprehensive and detailed demonstration of how to use Insight Trader to implement a complete Trading Plan right from the end of the last bear market and proceeding through the bull market that is still in progress.

Techniques were discussed on many ways to identify market opportunities and how to purchase to limit risk using money management principles and stop loss implementation. It also involved going back in time to the end of 2002 to select individual stocks and build in detail an actual portfolio and to track and manage these up until the end of the study period. We were also then able to make a detailed assessment of our performance and to see how it was progressing towards achieving our objective.

The proceedings were recorded and from this we have created the complete set of presentations described here. This has been done to enable us to more widely disseminate the benefits of the Workshop amongst those users who, for whatever reason, may not have been able to attend and also to provide a permanent record for those who actually participated so that they could at any time revise any part of the workshop at their leisure.

There are eight individual presentations covering various aspects of the use of Insight Trader to analyse the markets. In total there is approximately 10 hours of instruction comprising audio synchronized with over 750 associated Powerpoint slides and screen shots.

To run the presentation the following software is required:

* Windows 98, ME, 2000, NT 4.0, XP, Vista, Win7, Win8
* Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4 or later. Windows Media Player 9 Series (or later) is recommended to optimize presentation playback.
* Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later) or Netscape Navigator 7.0 (or later)
* If you do not have Microsoft Power Point installed on your computer then you will need to run and install the Microsoft Office runtime file msorun.exe that is distributed on the CD
* We now provide a link to the free IETester utility as an alternative to overcome recent Microsoft incompatibilities with Internet Explorer.
* The higher the resolution that you set your monitor to the better but use at least 1024x768 for best results.

This is what two recent purchasers had to say:

"Just a short note to say I am blown away by the new Weekend Workshop CD.
Like all your stuff, very professional and precise.

Having attended the Brisbane workshop I thought it may be worth having "on the shelf".

It is in many ways better than being there as the audience questions are all included.
Incredible value, and after a couple of hours I am committed to doing the whole disk this week.
Am relearning a few tricks I had forgotten since the workshop.

Best regards and thanks

Brian

PS Feel free to use this note as I believe it is an incredible value investment for any IT user."

"As a participant at the Sydney workshop I have already taken advantage of your outstanding offer and I'm very glad I did.

While the workshop itself was great and I took many notes, it's impossible to remember everything that was covered. Now I don't have to, if I want to refresh my memory or learn about an unfamiliar area of IT I just select that part of the CD and I have that subject presented on the spot by "the IT Master" himself.

I think the money I spent was worth every cent.

Thanks

David"
